The design was first pushed forward when the militant branch/arm of the of the SS was completed in regard to divisional organization and training. It was decided that said armed branch/arm of service, the Waffen SS or, as it's steadily being called (pending an official renaming due to come in about a year) "Die Rote Bestellen" due it's official status as the "Order Militant" of the Khornatenreich and the status of it's combat personnel as "Ritter des Khorne/Knights of Khorne", truly devout servants of the Blood God, bearing both combat experience and "blessings" from the Blood God (Khornate Mutations). Ultimately, the Modell 1931 MKb[H] has proven itself as a tool of precision fire intermediate cartridge driven slaughter. With it's cartridge having been tailor-made to suit it's purpose, there is a slight chance that later models of the the M31 MKb[H] will be utilized as the service rifle for the Khormacht due to the rugged reliability and general lack of excessive, unnecessary parts, going doubly so in regard to it's amazing mechanism which was utilized/scaled-up/dumbed-down for the Gewehr 33 as-per the requirements of general service via the Khormacht (formerly the Wehrmacht).
